Is there a mystery hidden underneath? Can the lawyer decode this mystery? The answers to all these questions form the crux of the movie. The climax is the icing on the cake and completely steals the show.
Performances
The performances in this movie rest on three strong pillars, which are none other than the lead cast of the movie. Abhimanyu Singh as Raghuram Singh, the husband, is in excellent form despite having less screen time. From an accused and jailed husband to a dominating one, he gets an opportunity to portray various emotions, and he getsmost of them right.
Sharib Hashmi, known for his excellent acting skills in The Family Man, Asur, Filmistaan etc., is in top form here as Manas Verma, the lawyer of Raghuram Singh. As a man who has set out to decode the truth, he only raises the bar with this performance.
The show-stealer is none other than the beautiful and talented Anjali Patil as Sindoora Singh, Raghuram Singh’s wife. She has multiple shades to her character, ranging from a female who has cheated her husband, to the one who is nymphomaniac, to an innocent wife dominated by her husband. She has depicted each of these facets with ease and comfort. Rest of the supporting cast is OK.
